Out of a profound passion for wine, and at a time where the consumption of wine was an exclusive privilege of the upper class, the winemaker Peter Mertes founded his own winery in 1924. His mission: to make wine accessible to people from all walks of life and to share his passion for wine with as many people as possible.

Mosel-Saar-Ruwer (MOH zel zar ROO ver) is a dramatically beautiful region of western Germany which produces exceptional white wines from the Riesling grape. Among the lightest in Germany, these wines usually contain less than 10% alcohol and are generally delicate, fresh, and bursting with flavor. Along with its flowery tastes and aromas, Carl Sittmann Mosel Riesling has sweet flavors of peaches and apples which are gracefully balanced by the crisp acidity keeping it refreshingly elegant without being too sweet.

Just 0 is a range of tasty german alcohol free red, white, rosé and sparkling white wines. The wines are dealcoholised through a special, very gentle method producing and alcohol free and reduced calorie pleasure which is especially popular for barbecues, tastes like the real deal and will be fine to drive home after a glass or 25. Each 100 ml contains just 120 KJ (25 kcal), approximately1/3 of the calories of an alcoholic wine.
