Taisteal derives its name from the Gaelic word for “journey”. As Milestone Beverages’ first exploration into its own spirits, the duality of the journey into this new market and the voyage we want to facilitate for a new generation of whisky consumers, is core to the brand.
By “exploring the old world through new eyes”, we invite consumers to journey with us in understanding that with each sip, they are tasting our well-established heritage whilst at the same time pioneering into our contemporary world in fresh ways.

Our distillers inject hundreds of years of Scottish heritage which we merge into the 21st century, forging a gateway to the rich history of single malt whiskey in a modern age.

ABV: 40% Vol
Nose: Soft and inviting with aromas of milk chocolate, vanilla fudge and cocoa powder.
Palate: Sweet and creamy with layers of cooked fruits, vanilla pod, apple strudel and sweet cake spices.
Finish: Warming and balanced with notes of blackberry and almond fading into a toasty, nutty linger.
ABV: 40% Vol
Nose: Leathery dark notes build into a heathery character then give way to a sweeter, malty presence with subtle wood notes arising at the close.
Palate: Pronounced burst of malt on the tongue with sweet cereal notes complimented by a creamy texture. Mid palate, there’s a distinct nuttiness followed by a slight astringent citrus finish.
Finish: Sweet hints of dark molasses develop to a darker and sweeter conclusion with subtle citrus peel offsetting the rich sweet overtones.

Nose: Toffee sweetness with orange blossom floral notes and a rich vein of vanilla.
Palate: Attractively sweet and floral alongside nutty and fruity flavours.
Finish: Endearingly smooth and creamy drawing out to a light vanilla close.
